How might we create an app that sets itself apart from established social wagering applications on the market, by allowing users to create custom wagers on virtually any event, and the use of in-game currency in states where mobile wagering is not legal.
Creating a New Take on Traditional Wagering
Picks with Pals (PwP) embraces a social experience and community feel that enhances the excitement surrounding the wagering. While many applications focus on sports wagering, PwP spans into other areas of entertainment in an effort to be more inclusive to all users.

Unique Wagers
Picks with Pals allows users to wager on upcoming TV shows, sporting events, even politics, and other pop culture events. Create matches to challenge your friends, play solo matches, or join in on matches created by the community.
These unique wagering methods were proposed by me to allow users who were not familiar with wagering to have a more relatable experience in the application. |
Recreating a Welcome Experience
Multiple surveys were conducted throughout the process to gather user data. We interviewed people who used wagering applications, who interacted with fantasy sports applications, and those who never took the plunge into wagering to gather our data.

Present Day Update

Unfortunately due to stakeholder backing and the legalization of mobile wagering gambling in many new states PicksWithPals.com is now showing a 503 error as the site and application go dark.
